Sentence Structure in the Country by more eaze

Spellbinding from start to finish. Historically, more eaze has not been the easiest artist for me to digest, but “Sentence Structure in the Country” clicked for me immediately. The field recordings, ambient hisses, and instrumentation work to create the most interesting soundscapes I’ve heard in a while - especially when more eaze adds autotuned, tinny vocals to the mix. The sonic palette of the album is unnerving, but brightly colored (especially on tracks like Distance that have more of an acoustic makeup) - almost sounding like an inverse of sounds created by fellow ambient boundary-pusher aya, who also has been releasing music that I love. Definitely a treat, and endlessly replayable in terms of wanting to unpeel the layers!
