a genuine breath of fresh air. With the music industry becoming increasingly digitized and with that, curatorial, SML have subverted album expectations by creating an album that is completely improvised and unedited. The resulting music feels like a “lightning in a bottle” moment - with sparse passages weaving into something groovy and psychedelic, and listeners being able to appreciate the contemplative space around moments that could have been edited into more traditional “songs.”
